Fiesta Madness gets a new home!
In the year since our last Fiesta Madness party, the Pearl
Brewery had been sold and the Jersey Lily Saloon was no longer available
for our festivities. As with most things, there are good points and
bad points to the change. The bad news is we didn't find out the
Jersey Lily wouldn't be available until very close to Fiesta, so the
organizing committee was left scrambling to find a new home for our
soiree.
Far West Rodeo became our new venue on Saturday, April 19,
2003. It's a fantastic venue and eliminated all the concerns from
previous years about having enough space for all our guests. We may
have frightened a few of the cowboys... but I think they'll survive.
In honor of our new western themed location,
we borrowed an
idea. Madame Maduska's Bovine Beauties held our own special Cow
Parade.
For the first time in Fiesta Madness history, a group of
four beauties will share the title of Miss Fiesta Madness 2003. Their
fabulous Moulin Rouge production number is stunning.
