Lucky Us!
The weather reports predicted big storms for the evening,
but the parade organizers said the show would go on even in the rain.
We adjusted our parade fashions for items that would still look chic in the
rain, but the rain never materialized. Instead, we were treated with a
wonderfully cool (although humid) evening and a lovely parade (oh yeah, and
did I mention the jell-o shots?).
Thanks to Ron Stinson and the Arbor House for a lovely
pre-parade party.
I need to apologize for not having more pics of the
parade... but after it got dark, the neon lights from the shop across the
street from our bleachers were really screwing with the light adjustment on
the camera, so I gave up and put the camera away. Besides, I've shown
you many MANY pictures of previous Flambeau parades so you're not really
missing out... and I got distracted by other activities too (did I mention
the jell-o shots?)
